We have introduced new leadership roles for students and these have been very well received.

We have a head girl and head boy, two deputy head girls and two deputy head boys, 24 house captains (4 for each house) 3 Kaiarahi Māori , a large group of leaders in the Hauora Leaders Team and our Cultural Diversity Group. We also have over 30 students in our Tech Angels Team!

These enable us to foster and grow leadership skills and to provide a voice for students in these areas. In addition to these leaders we have a student council led by the head and deputy head students. This consists of one representative from each class. These six head students work closely with the principal on developing their leadership skills through school and community projects.
