Cotswold School has the following position(s) available:

Learning Support Coordinator (LSC)

We are seeking experienced registered teacher who is passionate about making a difference for our children. While this position is based at Cotswold School, the successful applicant will work collaboratively with other LCSs within the Tōtaranui Kāhui Ako. This position commences on 28 January, 2020.

To be considered, applicants will be registered experienced teachers who have:

  • Demonstrated successful experience in working with children and young people with learning support needs in the classroom
  • A sound knowledge, commitment to, and understanding of the learning support system and the Learning Support Action Plan priorities
  • The ability to engage at a school or kura and cluster leadership level
  • The ability to alongside the SENCO, RTLB and other support agencies in implementing programmes to support learners
  • Influencing skills at a working level within a school or kura and the wider cluster
  • Understanding of Te Ao Māori
  • A current teaching practising certificate and relevant teaching qualification
  • Met professional standards relevant to their current position.

MUs may be available depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

Year levels to be decided depending upon the strengths and experience of the successful applicants.
