Board Secretary 

We are looking for a member of our community to support our school board as the minute secretary. This position involves attending each meeting (2 per term), accurately recording the minutes of the meeting, and ensuring that a final copy of the minutes is available for public viewing. This is a paid position. The minute taker is not a member of the board and does not have speaking rights, nor can they vote in board meeting decisions. By supporting our board as the minute secretary you will be freeing up our board members to fully participate in the meeting without having to record the minutes. This is a small but by no means insignificant, role in the effective functioning of our school board. Please send any expressions of interest to: principal@leithfield.school.nz
