November Library News

At this time of year, we say a sad farewell to our Year 13 Student Librarians. It is especially poignant this year as quite a few of them have been with us since Year 9. We wish them well in their future endeavours and hope they will be back for a visit next year. Well done to our hard-working Head Librarian, William Hince, who has completed his Silver Award and will receive his reward at our End-of-year Lunch. Thank you to all of our team for their efforts and reliability and thank you especially to Kester Lucas, Ethan Shingleton, Ali Alaswad and Rian MacDonald for covering or mending so many books.

The Library is lucky enough to have been granted new mobile shelving from the PTA funds. These arrived quickly and have already been set up, giving more room for spreading out the Fiction books. Remember our Summer Reading Club which allows you to take 20 books out for the summer holidays. Sign up in the Library. Mrs Langley
