Untitled Futures Creative Conference

‘Thinking behind the artwork’ was the focus for this year’s annual art conference held at the Regent Theatre in Palmerston North. With hundreds of senior painting, photography and design students from schools from around the region in attendance, the venue was a sea of creativity. Guest speakers included commercial photographer Amber Griffin, digital creative Rachel Rakena, contemporary designers Maui Studios, printmaker and painter Belinda Griffiths and street artist Cracked Ink.

The Palmerston North Boys’ High School students who attended were treated to a diverse range of artistic approaches and inspirational stories by each of the speakers. The boys' left the art conference with a greater understanding of artistic career possibilities and a wealth of inspiration for their own work.
