Our last sports round-up for 2025 & 2026 Regos Open

Super Cluster Athletics

On Tuesday, 25th November, we took a team of 50 Year 4, 5 and 6 students to the Takapuna Athletics Club at Onewa Domain to compete at the Super Cluster Athletics. It was a fantastic day, and we are very proud to say we were the 2nd school overall out of the 8 schools that took part. A huge thanks must go to the Parents who helped and supported on the day. Below are the incredible individual results that were achieved on the day.

Term 4 Summer Netball and Hockey:

Well done to all those who took part in the Term 4 Summer Netball and Hockey teams. We hoped you had a really fun time and developed new skills along the way. Winter T3/4 2026 registrations will open early Term 1 - look out for the information in the Sports Newsletter and the school website.

Touch Rugby:

We had 7 Touch Rugby Teams that took part in the 2025 season, playing on Monday evenings at Sunnynook Park. It was great that we could enter 2 x Year 3 & 4 Girls Teams this year. A huge thanks to all the parents who coached and managed, as well as some of our older students who stepped into coaching roles for the first time this year. Congratulations to the following teams on your results:

BASKETBALL:

Firstly, congratulations to our players who were selected for Harbour U12 representative teams this year: Ana Regotti, Stevie Donald, Timmy Wang, Lucas Lee-Jones, Lochy Iversen & Julian Topic. What a wonderful achievement, well done.

World Famous in BBS - Dance Sport

Harvey Year 6 participated in 79th Australian Dancesport Open Championship in Melbourne over the weekend of the 6th December.

He won the Australian National champion title of Juvenile Open Standard and Open New Vogue Dance, solo champion of Tango, 3rd place in the Juvenile Open Latin title.

Early November in Auckland, he has won New Zealand National Dance Championship: 

1. First Place in New Zealand Juvenile Open Six Dance 

2. First Place in New Zealand Juvenile Open Ballroom

3. First Place in New Zealand Juvenile A Grade Ballroom

4. First Place in New Zealand Juvenile B Grade Ballroom

5. First Place in New Zealand Juvenile A Grade New Vogue

6. Highest Marks Awarded Juvenile Open Ballroom Slow Foxtrot

World Famous in BBS - Tag

Congratulations to Stevie Rm 27, Y6 and Lucas- Lee Jones Rm 20, Y5 for representing the NZ Tag Blacks at the Pacifica Tag Cup over the 1st week of December.
