Super Cluster Football:

On Tuesday, 11th September, we took two Y5/6 Football teams to the Super Cluster Football tournament at Ashley Reserve.

The Girls team placed 2nd in their pool after 2 wins and a draw. They went through to the semifinal against the top-placed team from the other pool, who was Campbell's Bay. They won that game 5-0 to advance into the final against Murrays Bay whom they had drawn with in pool play. The final was a very tight game, and they ended up 2nd in the tournament after going down 1-0 in the final.

The Boys team won all 3 of their pool games to finish at the top of their pool for the semifinals. The semifinal game against Campbell's Bay was a draw at full time, so it went to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout, which BBS won by a goal. This took them through to the finals against St John's, which they won 1-0 to become the 2025 Super Cluster Football Champions!

Such an amazing day for both teams to make the finals and take away 1st and 2nd place! A huge thanks must be given to Zac Rush for coaching the boys team and to John Mole, supported by Mark MacDonald, who took the girls team.
