Some tools to contribute to the discussion around the Treaty Principles Bill

Submissions on the "Treaty Principles Bill" close on 7 January 2025.

Asians Supporting Tino Rangatiratanga have developed resources to help understand, learn about, and engage in the conversation around the Bill and the significance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The website includes a guide for migrant communities to facilitate gentle conversations with friends and whānau who may not understand the history and context of Aotearoa New Zealand. It also addresses different experiences with race and racism, both from their home countries and in New Zealand, that may have shaped their views.
