REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR ALL SPORTS FOR 2023.

Full information on each sport offered and the registration link to that sport can be found on the WGC Sports website under Co-Curricular. (https://wgc.school.nz/co-curricular/sport/)

SUMMER SPORTS - Term 1 sports offered are Cricket, Futsal, Floorball, Senior Touch, Tennis, Lawn Bowls, Waterpolo and Volleyball. These sports start early in the school year so please register asap.

WINTER SPORTS – registrations are open for all winter sports. Please see the WGC sports website for all information

Parents and students should complete the online registration form together. Students will not be eligible to play for their selected sports if this is not done and the registration fee paid.

Social competitive teams will not be entered into competitions unless all team members have paid and completed an individual registration form. The team’s captain will then need to enter online, one social team registration form. This can be found via the Registration Forms link.

WGC Athletics Day - Friday 17th February

This is a compulsory day for all of the school. Competitive athletes need to sign up on the Noticeboard in the gym foyer. (Juniors – Yr 9s. Intermediate – Yr 10 & 11. Senior – Year 12 & 13) Those who want to compete for House points (ie fun!) can sign up at the House meetings or just turn up to that event on the day.
