We have been receiving increasing numbers of applications from international students wanting to enrol at Wellington Girls’ College this year. Our students range from Year 10 - 13 and wish to study at our College for short and long-term periods.

Hosting a young person can be an enriching and fun experience and a great way for you, and those living in your household, to enjoy learning about a new culture and sharing your own. These overseas students benefit immeasurably from a supportive environment and being able to improve their English language skills in a more relaxed situation.

If you are interested in becoming a homestay host, please feel free to contact Lucy Stevenson in the International Department on 027 2437410 or lucy.stevenson@wgc.school.nz. You will need to provide a comfortable private room for your student, meals, and easy access to public transport for their journey to school (ideally no longer than 30-40 minutes).

Our homestay fee is currently $315.00 per student, each week.
