Tired of fumbling with bits of sticky tape when wrapping gifts? A group of Wellington Girls’ College students have the answer ‒ a wrapping paper with a water-activated adhesive backing.

Year 11 students Ellie MacAvoy, Meggan Dolman, Nicole Wee and Miya Jiang are the group behind the new product called Easy Wrap, which they developed as part of their Young Enterprise Scheme project.

“It’s really hard to come up with an idea that is easy to make but different from what’s already been done,” Jiang said. “We really wanted to make a sustainable difference and target a mass market.”
