Each year we celebrate the achievements of those taitamāhine in their final year at Wellington Girls’ College who are moving on to a new phase in their lives. It is always a special event with whānau, staff and students in attendance. Other students also attend to support their tuakana. This year we farewelled 11 students. Rachel Crowhen was MC for the event. Staff were invited to speak about each student; students and whānau then responded. The 2019 poroporoaki was a special event and we thank all those who have supported these students at WGC.
