Maggie recently moved to Auckland to further her football career and was named in the U17 New Zealand Football Team.

The  team had an historic run at the FIFA U17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay.  They were the first team from New Zealand to reach the semi finals at a FIFA Tournament, after upsetting Japan in a penalty shoot out.  The team went on to claim a bronze medal by  defeating Canada 2-1, becoming the first New Zealand national team to claim a medal at any FIFA tournament.
