Scholarship Results 2018

Wellington Girls' College —

The results of the 2018 Scholarship exams were released last week. We were delighted with the results.

Margarita (Margo) Montes de Oca (Dux 2018) gained Outstanding scholarships in Biology and English and Scholarships in Art History and French.   She was named as one of 46 Outstanding scholars nationally.

Rebecca Farquhar gained scholarships in French and German.

Molly Hurley gained scholarships in Classical Studies and Geography.

Adelie Lallement gained an Outstanding Scholarship in French and was named as the top in New Zealand.

And 28 other students gained a Scholarship - Katie Bonne, Abbie Chubb, Kate Forster, Olivia Gardenier, Evie Hamblin, Georgia Hoggarth, Fariha Islam, Lucy Jones, Hannah Kedzlie, Tara Kendon, Lauren Lancaster, Caroline Law, Emma Lawrence, Cait Lowndes, Ruby Mackle, Amy Noble, Brittany Osborne, Alice Riley, Charlotte Sinclair, Yasmin Sue, Ella Thorpe, Kate Twomey (Yr 12), Rosa Pillay, Winter Wang, Gemma Williams, Jessie Williams, Frances Wright & Gabby Wu.

Scholarships were awarded in Art History, Biology (2), Chemistry, Classical Studies (2), Drama (2), Economics, English (8), French (4), Geography, German, History (5), Statistics (3), Media Studies, Music and Technology (4).
