VUW Exciting Overseas Exchange Opportunity for Your Students!

We are offering our incoming students the chance to apply for a place on our Wellington Global Exchange Programme and be awarded an International Experience Grant before they even start university.

The International Experience Grant includes:

  • An offer of place on our Wellington Global Exchange Programme for one semester in 2026
    (students’ second year of study)

  • A grant to cover tuition fees for the exchange programme.

  • Enrolment in our Wellington International Leadership Programme.

To be eligible to apply, students must:

  • Have submitted an admission application for a bachelor’s degree in Trimester 1, 2025 at Victoria University of Wellington before Monday 7 October 2024

  • Not have previously studied at Level 5 or above on the NZQA framework, unless through the STAR programme.

  • Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
