Year 13 textbooks due back details

Current library and text books that you have out need to be returned before or by 18 November.  Please check your emails for any reminder notices of issued items.

You are welcome to keep any books, as well as chromebook & charger, that you need for the exam period. Please return them straight after your last exam to the library or the returns' bin by the student office. This guarantees they will be scanned off your account rather than sitting on a teachers' desk.

Year 13's, please note that all items will need to be returned (or paid for) in order to receive your goody bag at the Leavers' function on 2 December.

If you have a query about a textbook, please see your subject teacher. 

If you have a query about a library book, please email library@wgc.school.nz or chat to one of the librarians in the library. 

If you have a query about a chromebook, please see IT Support in BG2.

The Zonta Club Awards

The Zonta Club of Wellington invite rangatahi of Wellington aged 16-19 years to apply for the Young Women in Leadership Award for 2026.

Applications close Friday 24 October 2025.

The Zonta Young Women in Leadership Award (previously known as the Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs award) is a Zonta International programme funded by contributions to the Zonta Foundation for Women. Zonta International is a leading global organization of individuals working to build a better world for women and girls.

The successful applicant will receive NZD $1000 to assist her in continuing her education at a tertiary level and will be invited to a celebratory award ceremony jointly hosted by the Zonta Clubs of Wellington and Mana in January 2026. Our Wellington winner will be put forward for the New Zealand District 16 national award, and all national winners are put forward for the 2026 international award.
