Staff are expected to follow agreed standards relating to the appropriate use of school phones.

Staff may use school phones for personal use which is both reasonable and appropriate to the school environment. All users of school phones are expected to practise sensible use to limit excessive charges. The cost of personal toll calls and calls to mobile phones may be charged back to individuals.

In general, staff are not expected to use personal mobile phones for school business. There are procedures in place to either provide phones or subsidise the use of personal phones for those staff members whose core business requires that they can be contacted urgently by other staff members and/or members of the school community and/or outside providers.
