Year 10 Arabella Shackel and Year 11 Zara Bradley are the only two students in New Zealand who were accepted into the Royal Ballet School for their Summer Intensive course in London. The programme provides a unique opportunity to students from around the globe to receive the highest levels of coaching from world-renowned Royal Ballet School faculty and special guests.

Both Arabella and Zara are in the Royal New Zealand Ballet mentor program, and are Associates and Scholars of the New Zealand School of Dance. They currently study at the Fiona Haines Dance Academy in Karori.  Arabella also spent a week with the Princess Grace School in Monaco.

The students travelled to White Lodge in Richmond Park, London, in late July for this wonderful opportunity. A huge congratulations to you both for this amazing achievement. We look forward to seeing more from you in the future!
