WGC has celebrated this year's Schools Pride Week early, as the Nationwide Schools Pride Week clashes with WGC Derived Grade Exams.

Events for the week included an LGBTIQ+ book display in the library, with bookmarks donated by Rainbow Youth. Lunchtime events for students included Kahoots, karaoke, and arts & crafts. Staff showed their support by buying and wearing LGBTIQ+ badges and increased their knowledge with quizzes. We flew our Rainbow Flag with Pride. 

All going well, we will have a speaker at our September Parent Seminar talking about LGBTIQ+ issues
