Each year level has a Dean who moves through with the students. There is also an SMT member attached to each year level and they also move through with the cohort.

The Deans have the particular responsibility of watching the welfare and progress of students at a year level. They meet regularly with Wānanga and work closely with senior staff, Counsellor and Careers staff. It is important that you talk to the Deans about any concerns that you may have.
