All staff timetables are available on KAMAR. Staff who are under or over allocated will be contacted by the SMT to make arrangements. If you have any regular meetings or have nominated your hauora time this can be allocated on to your KAMAR timetable and requests will be sought at the start of each year and when new staff arrive at WGC.

There is a website that displays the time until the next period, as well as the weekly times: Classroom Countdown. This is also displayed on digital signage and in the WGC App (SchoolAppsNZ). You can link to Classroom Countdown from the 4 Staff page.

For Periods 1, 3 and 5, the expectation is that students are ready to learn at the start of the period. The timetabled changeover time is when the period ends, so Periods 2, 4 and 6 will consequently start a few minutes later. Students should go directly from one class to the next. Staff should always keep students in class until the scheduled period ends.

• There are no bells rung in the normal course of events (a Bell Replacement Calendar is available so that you can receive reminders of meetings and Periods 3 & 5)

• A continuous bell is the signal for emergency evacuation.

• Repeated bursts of three short rings of the bell is the signal to go into lockdown.
