Wellington Girls' College is seeking a teacher aide to work with our English language learners.
This is a permanent part time role of 15 hours per week, term time only.
You will work with the Head of the English Language Department to coordinate teaching strategies and resources. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
Ideally, you will have;
- good communication, literacy, and IT skills
- ability to facilitate group work and work one-to-one with students
- discretion
- an open and approachable manner
- confidence to work with students
- the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of learners demonstrating varied levels of language ability
- demonstrable skills and knowledge in the language acquisition process..
The remuneration will be according to the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement - Teacher Aide work matrix.
