The WGC Staff Social club provides social activities for the staff. These include morning teas, inter-departmental lunches and after school events such as happy hours, quiz, bingo, games/art/sport evenings etc. Members receive a leaving gift from the social club on behalf of their colleagues when they leave WGC. The club has also purchased some kitchen items over the years such as a microwave, a sandwich press and utensils. The events are managed by a small committee and staff volunteers. 

To cover the running costs there is an annual fee for full time teachers of $50.00 discounted to $45.00 if paid by the end of Term 1. Further discounts are given to part time staff, support staff and beginning (year 1 and 2) teachers. The fee contributes towards the cost of running events as well as the gifts to social club members when they leave WGC.
