On Tuesday while in Christchurch visiting schools to learn about staff wellbeing we had the opportunity to visit Christchurch Girls' High School and present them with a kowhai tree.

The students at WGC wanted to donate this tree as a show of support between our schools and a lasting memorial of the events in Christchurch on 15 March this year.  I would like to thank all of the students who were involved in the organisation and fundraising earlier this year.
