Liv completed her Year 13 Photography folio in 2019. She also submitted for Scholarship, completing eight A3 pages of critical thinking and inquiry beyond the folio investigation. The folio was awarded Excellence as well as achieving at the highest level an 'Outstanding' Scholarship award.

Liv has also had her Photography folio chosen by NZQA for the Top Art Exhibition which is a national touring show which promotes examples of excellence and sound practice.  The folio is a fantastic example of the processes, themes, ideas, influences and concepts in working at this level.  This work examined architectural spaces and the sense that light becomes the most essential element, evoking contemplation and emotional states.  Liv explored the transformative nature of light, transfixing colour, installations, experiential art and formal abstraction. The folio was chosen from thousands of examples and is a real credit to Liv as an example of her very reflective art practice.

In 2020 Liv is studying International Relations, Art History and Spanish and will keep her arty side nurtured within her degree while also continuing her passion in photography.
