It was a heartbreaking final few minutes for the WGC First X1 Football team, as they narrowly lost taking out a fifth CSW Premier Championship in a row, to Onslow College in a penalty shootout.

The team, coached by Ben Frean, have worked hard all season to make the final last week.  After a 1-1 score at the end of full time, the Premiership came down to a penalty shootout and it took 7 brave penalty takers from both teams, to come out with a winner. 

A huge congratulations to the team for a great season of football and a special congratulations to Captain, Sam Whyte, who finished 5 great years in the team, 2 short of 100 games for WGC!!
