We held our first Parents’ Association meeting on the first day back and it was wonderful to see a couple of new parents attend that are keen to be involved in supporting the WGC community.

Each year we run a number of events to benefit our school community. The most visible of these is the ‘Second Hand’ uniform sales where we sell uniforms on your behalf, or uniforms that have been donated to the school for us to sell. 

All proceeds from these sales go back to the Parents’ Association for use within the school, with one of our main foci being able to support funding for the School Nurse.

Along with uniform sales, this year we will also be hosting:

• Soup Lunch for the staff 
• Leaders’ Lunch (for our student leaders’)
• End of year lunch and raffle to thank our staff

We usually meet every second Tuesday of the month at 5.30pm in International House at WGC Staffroom but watch our Instagram page for updates on when meetings will be held.

Please come along if you are interested, we would love to see you. The time commitment is over to you. We have people who are actively involved in our events but we also have others who are happy to be approached occasionally.
