This year WGC had not one, but three finalists in this Wellington Regional award.

On the 17th of October Ella Speden, Ella Strachan and Kate Twoomey were invited to attend the prizegiving event at the National Library.   They were treated to a close look at some of Mansfield's letters, journals and possessions before the announcement of the finalists and winner.   Ella Strachan and Kate Twomey were the runners-up to the eventual winner.  The superb writing of all three students can be read here.
