Students were treated to an awesome zine workshop held by Wellington Zinefest coordinators.

What is a zine? Pronounced 'zeen', it comes from the words 'magazine' and 'fanzine'. It is created in paper form, is self-published, and is a way for people to express themselves on any topic that interests them from art and music to politics and social commentary.

At the workshop, students learned how to make a simple zine, expressing some of the things that they are fans of. The library has started its own collection with zines created and donated by WGC students.
