This year WGC had 69 students sitting the DELF exams - the highest number yet for our school, and the largest number of entries of any school in NZ. The DELF exam offers students a chance to gain an internationally accepted French diploma, and the B2 level allows students to attend university in France, without needing to sit a language exam.

The examination is sat by students all around the world, and marked to standards set in France by accredited DELF examiners. All four skills are assessed: Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking, and marked out of 25. Candidates must gain 50% overall to pass, and at least 5/25 in each of the four skill areas.
