If students require a written reference for a scholarship, GAP year or other opportunity they should contact our reference writer at least two weeks before the reference is required. They will work with subject teachers, the Wānanga teacher, and staff involved with sports, cultural activities etc to write a personalised reference letter.

It is important that students let them know what the reference is required for, the deadline date and any additional information that needs to be included.

No staff member is to write an individual reference for a student. This is both to save you time but also to ensure a level of consistency across references for all students.
