College Parent Groups

The Parents’ Association is an incorporated society and registered charity. 

All parents of students enrolled at the college are automatically members of the Parents’ Association. Parents’ Association meetings are held twice a term. The Parents’ Association Social sub-committee also meets regularly. Look on the school website / Community / Parents’ Association for details of meeting dates and office holders. 

The Parents’ Association coordinates: Seminars for parents and caregivers on a wide range of topical issues Second-hand uniform sales Dances for Years 9, 10 and 11 Balls for Year 12 and 13 The year 13 Leaders’ lunch, a staff morning tea and the Leavers’ Cocktail Party.

The Whānau rōpū, Te Rōpū Whirinaki

Helen Dale is the Māori Board Representative and Leader of the whānau rōpū, Te Rōpū Whirinaki.

We warmly invite all whānau of our Māori students to attend our whānau hui to keep up to date with a range of kaupapa and discuss how the school can best support our tauira Māori.

The Pasifika Navigator group

BTrish Raea is the Board Pasifika representative and leader of the Pasifika Navigator group.

All pacific parents are invited to join the Pasifika Navigator group to support the students by running fun activities celebrating Pacific culture and community.
