Imagine you’re talking to a close friend who’s thinking of moving to our school/kura?

Donna Buchanan —

What is ONE experience you would tell them about, that shows who we are and how we do things?

Purpose of using the ‘SenseMaker’ tool

We are taking part in a piece of research about Positive Behaviour for Learning School-Wide (PB4L-SW). We are wanting to listen to the many voices in our school community – to gather stories about your experiences with our school/kura.

You will be asked about one experience that shows who we are and how we do things at our school/kura. Listening to your voice and insights will help us make our school/kura an even better place for our students/ākonga.

Your story can be done online in your own time, and may take about 10-15 minutes to complete, or longer depending on how much you want to say. After you have written your story you will be asked about how you feel about your story and the impact of it on you. These responses are also very helpful for us as it captures the impact of your experience.

We appreciate you taking the time to do this, in order to help us to continue to support you and your tamariki / children. We will be doing a similar survey (with a different link) with our Year 5 and 6 students early in Term 4.

We will give feedback to you on the insights and findings from our stories, and how we are going to follow up. These insights and findings will also help inform Strategic Planning

Please add your story no later than 3rd November. Complete the survey now

If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask any of us for support.
