AJHS Students Win Money Jam Competition
Year 10 Business Academy students, Samuel Luong, Rishabh Sood, Spencer Witcutt, Kyson Button, Karan Singh, Luke van Zweel, Mekyla Liebenberg, and Evelyn van Niekerk have won $2500 for the Charity "Saving Hope" in the National Money Jam competition.
Business Academy students entered the competition by selecting a charity and interviewing members of the charity to find out how they could best support the charity efforts. Students then created a business plan for a fundraising event to raise funds for the charity.
The winning student group has designed a wet sponge bonanza to raise funds. We will wait for warmer weather before running this fundraising event at school. The $2500 will be added to our fundraising effort and will be donated to Saving Hope.
