We warmly invite prospective students and parents/caregivers to our annual open evening and option evening, where you will discover the wide range of unique and rich opportunities available to your 7-10 children when they join our Albany Junior High School (AJHS) community. Our school’s four-year programme provides curriculum diversity, challenge, and a personalised learning programme that fosters and supports the emerging adolescent's distinctive requirements.

We take pride in what our students have access to, and the most meaningful way to show this is to take you on a personalised tour of our school to explore, interact and engage with our curriculum and culture.

You’ll visit areas such as;

• Science labs
• Maths rooms

• Whanau atriums
• Homerooms
• Gymnasium
• Green room
• Music studios
• Dance studios
• Visual Arts studio
• Performance Art Centre

Your tours will be led by one of our student leaders or current Year 7’s who can share their AJHS experience with you. We will also showcase the amazing learning opportunities available for our Y9/10 students. This is an opportunity to come along with your child and learn about all the fantastic courses our departments have on offer in 2023.

On arrival please approach the high-vis school personnel who will guide you to the gymnasium to begin your tour. If you have any accessibility needs please let us know in advance.
