New Signs - Old Message

Students can look out for new signs appearing next to rainwater drains around the school site. They are designed to help raise awareness about anything that goes down those drains and where it goes. 

These drains take water to Lucas Creek, which then flows into the ocean. Anything we put down these drains will therefore affect all the living things in the creek and the Hauraki Gulf.

So please, only rainwater down the drains. Students, please dispose of your rubbish thoughtfully, so it doesn’t blow into the drains.
