NZ Schools Diving Championships:

Congratulations to Year 10 student Riley Oxenham, who combined as a team with Olivia Fox and Helena Hulda Olsen from Albany Senior High School to finish in 2nd place in the recent NZ Secondary Schools Diving Championships.

Riley had a successful individual competition, finishing in first place in both the Girls 15-16 Springboard and Girls 15-16 Platform events.

We also had two students compete in the NZ Intermediate Schools Competition. Congratulations to Ryley McGhie for his 2nd place in the boys springboard event, and to Genevieve Anderson for her 11th place in the girls springboard event.

We have had a long history of diving success and look forward to watching many more divers represent AJHS in the future.

AJHS Student Sporting Achievements for Sports Prizegiving:

We have an amazing sporting community with many of our students involved in numerous sports activities outside of AJHS school sports.

As part of our preparation for our annual Sports Prize Giving we require students to complete the following form if they have had any involvement or selection in the following sporting groups between November 1st 2022 and October 31st 2023.

Selected in a National Team
Selected in a Regional Team (Harbour/Auckland)
Competed at a North Island or National Event
Competed at a Regional Event and had a top 3 placing
Had success in a club sports event

Year 7 - 10 Golf Zone Day:

The North Harbour Year 7 - 10 Golf Zone Day is being held on Monday 13th November, 2023. All students who currently play, or know how to play golf and have a set of golf clubs, are welcome to register. There is an individual event for students with handicaps and an ambrose team event for students newer to golf.

Registrations close at 9am Friday 3rd November, 2023.
