Year 7 & 8 Health Screening Dates

  • HPV: 2nd dose, 9th November, Year 8, with a catch-up session on 15th November

  • Vision testing: 16th & 23rd November for eligible Year 7 students (and catch-up for Y8 students)

Vision Testing

If you do not wish for your child to be screened by the Waitemata vision screening team, please email the school nurse andrea.probert-southam@ajhs.school.nz. You will also need to advise the student to tell the technician if they are called up to attend.

Children already wearing glasses/contact lenses or under the care of an optometrist will not be tested, however these children are required to attend the screening sessions as this information needs to be imparted and recorded.
