Humanities Hatch Eggs

Students and friends from Mrs McKean's Humanities classes have spent their intervals and lunch times over the last 21 days, incubating chicken eggs and learning how they develop before they hatch. While not strictly a 'humanities' subject, students have learned much about themselves, others and the fragility of life. It was an exciting day on Tuesday when the eggs began to hatch. Students from many classes made their way during break times to watch, film and experience the birth of a chicken. Nature has many lessons to teach us about what's important in life.
