World Peace Day
World Peace Day was observed all around the world on Wednesday 21 September, and was celebrated in the AJHS Library. The creation of 1000 paper cranes, representing happiness, peace and good luck in Japanese culture, was driven by student librarian Amelie West, who also inspired many other students to participate. A beautiful and thought-provoking work of art.
