Tēnā koe, Talofa Lava, Mālō e lelei, Sanibonani, parents, caregivers, whānau and students,

Thank you to all our teachers and parents who facilitated and attended our Learner Led conferences this week. As partners in your child's education journey, we want to emphasise the significance of parent-teacher conferences. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for us to collaborate and work together in fostering your child's wellbeing, development, and academic journey.

Congratulations to all our students who have participated in the ICAS testing, with the last test of mathematics this Monday, and to all our students who participated in the Mathex evening competitions this week.

We wish all our students, teachers and parents travelling to, and participating in the following events over the next fortnight all our best and every success:

  • Sports Exchange to Sydney

  • North Harbour Science Fair

  • EPro8 Challenge

  • Tournament of Minds

  • Zespri AIMS Games

Currently we are reviewing our policy on our school uniform. Our AJHS uniform plays a significant role in creating a conducive learning environment and fostering a sense of unity among our students. Wearing a uniform instils a sense of belonging and pride in being part of our school community.

We kindly request your support in ensuring that your child arrives at school each day in the appropriate uniform. This includes adherence to the specified colours, styles, and accessories outlined in our uniform policy, which can be found on our school website.

We understand that there might be occasional reasons for deviation from the uniform policy. If such situations arise, please communicate with your child’s Whanau Dean in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements, or please send a signed note of explanation with your child for a uniform pass.

Enjoy your weekend te whānau, and take care.
