Summer Reading
Summer reading - it’s important!
Research shows that students who read four or more books over the summer are better prepared for the coming school year and do not go down the ‘summer slide’ - the loss of reading and learning skills during the summer break.
Pupils returning to AJHS in 2023 may borrow up to 15 library books over the summer holidays. Please pick up a permission slip from the library, the student desk or download one here. Return your signed permission slip to the library by Friday 2nd December.
Select your books (or ask for a mystery pack) and collect after Monday 5th December.
