Akaroa Area School Prizegiving
Thank you and correction to Prize Giving that Merit and Excellence certificates had been missed for Yrs 11-13. Our Apolgoies for this.
Thank you to Lesley Meguid, parents and staff for all the organisation of prize giving and the afternoon event. Lesley put many voluntary hours in to assist me with planning the afternoon activities. A special thank you to Akaroa Village Inn, Darren Angus for the donation of the ice cream. This was enjoyed by all.
At Prize giving the staff noted that an error has been made in the year 11-13 merit and excellence certificates. This error occurred during our processing of merit and excellence certificates for subjects across years 11-13. We apologise for this. The system will be simplified for 2025 to ensure this does not happen again.
Please accept our apologies and see the list below for students who should have been noted at Prize giving. We will hold a special assembly at the beginning of 2025 to award the following certificates.
