Banks Peninsula Schools Winter Tournament - Years 5-8

Date: 26th June 2025

Venue:  Akaroa Area School (Netball, Hockey, Football) 

Start - Finish: 9:00 am - 2pm

Prizegiving: 1:50 pm 

Tournament Coordinators: AAS Yr 12 & 13 students and Jo Thorne

We look forward to welcoming you all for this much-anticipated Banks Peninsula historical sporting event. Our Year 12 Physical Education students have planned and prepared the event and are the organisers on the day. Teachers will manage teams and parents are welcome to come along and support and cheer on the kids. 

Baking: Mason and Josh Rogal are running a Bake sale to raise money for Josh Crew and Ava Grobbelaar to go to TOSI, we are also asking for offers of baking please to support this fundraising cause, your donations are greatly appreciated if you can.

Uniform:(all) AAS PE SPORTS UNIFORM hockey players

 Hockey - mouth (home) & shin guards (school can provide) guard (home supply please).

Netball - PE uniform only

Football - shin guards (school can provide)

Programme: 

Netball: 9:15am- 10:45am

Hockey: 11:00am- 12:15pm and 

Football: 12:30pm- 1:45pm

Prizegiving: 1:50pm

Departure: 2:00pm

All parents and friends of the community are welcome to join us for some or all of the tournament.
