The Tūī ākonga worked with Mrs Charteris last week to make scientific observations and drawings of the Nursery Web Spider.

Can you believe that these detailed drawings are by Year 2 ākonga? We were very impressed by the observational skills of our learners in Tūī. Observation of the natural world is part of the 'Nature of Science' in the New Zealand Science Curriculum. Thank you Mrs C for providing such interesting learning while Mrs Battrick was away.
