Arden and Arlo's family have donated quite a few copies of the Poo-Heads books to our school library.

Carter and Marlow Wright are two brothers from Far North Queensland who are the creators of The Wright Bros. Comics.

Early in 2024, Carter (8 years old) and Marlow (7 years old) were prompted to start writing their own book after being inspired by a series of graphic novels that they borrowed from their local school library.

The boys mum, Maddi, helped the boys connect with Stu Thornton, an award-winning cartoonist from The 4th Monkey to help bring the boys vision to life. Both boys embarked on a journey to write a kids comic novel; writing and sketching before and after school for months on end. Each night they would send their daily sketches and ideas to Stu. Stu would work his magic overnight and send the boys a draft page each morning to edit and approve.

Carter and Marlow’s vision is for PooHeads to be Australia’s biggest selling kids book written by kids.

A big "Thank you" to the Manson family for donating the Poo-Heads books to our whare pukapuka/library. There is currently a display in our cosy nook area with some activities for our keen readers to do.
