Welcome Kawasaki Sensei
We welcome a visiting teacher to Amberley School
We are fortunate to be hosting Daisuke Kawasaki at Amberley School. Daisuke is a Science teacher from Japan (Kawasaki near Tokyo). His background prior to becoming a teacher is genetics and DNA. He is recently married (last year) and his wife, also a teacher, is visiting a school in NZ in Te Awamutu at the same time he is here. They will meet up in the holidays.Initially, Daisuke spent time in classes observing. He then presented a short presentation for each class. Eventually he will teach us all a little Japanese. Daisuke enjoys tennis and we love that he is able help out with our keen young tennis players!Daisuke is living with Yoshimi and John Connelly while in Amberley. He will be with us until mid next term. If you see him around please say hi and make him feel welcome.
