Lucy Cameron -Lucy, this week I have watched you go from strength to strength. The perseverance and self determination that you have shown throughout all aspects of your learning has blown me away. No matter what's going on around you, you remain focused and goal driven. I am incredibly proud of the person you are! He whetu koe.

Isaac Potts- Isaac, you have been training so hard for Cross Country. Each day I watch you push yourself a little bit further and run a bit more. Yesterday you absolutely smashed your race, crossing that finish line with a beaming smile and such a sense of accomplishment. Isaac you should be so proud of yourself, your determination and your willingness to keep going is so commendable

Sophie - Sophie I have been so impressed with your 3D paper mache jandal. You have taken your time with your application of layers and painted it so carefully to provide a smooth polished finish. The colour you have chosen is bright, electric and show stopping - just like you!

Ray: Ray I have been super impressed by you this week for a number of reasons. I admire how you have rectified a situation and made it better by speaking the truth. Another reason is for joining the Enviro team and sharing your expert knowledge and helping us with our projects. Thirdly for your independent instructional writing about your art piece you have created. I am so proud of you. Keep striving for the stars and working hard. You can do it all.

Oscar - Oscar it has been noticed by your kaiako how hard you are working in your group lessons. You are able to share your thoughts and ideas clearly in front of your peers.

We would also like to acknowledge your generosity in gifting swan plants to the Enviro team for the school’s butterfly garden. We think you are amazing.

Anty - Anty I would like to acknowledge you for all the great things you do at our school. I have been most impressed how you have stepped up to take responsibility of our outdoor facilities ensuring the sandpit is covered and locked each day. This has been noticed by your kaiako and using your initiative. I love it. (Ka mutu koe! - You’re awesome)

Briella - You designed an amazing mask, Briella. You worked hard to get the shape how you wanted it and designed it so that It represented how you felt about lockdown. You carefully added detail and finished it without rushing. I am impressed with your determination to get it right. Ka mau te wehi!

Logan - You have shown excellent determination to get your writing done, Logan. You thought it was difficult at the beginning but gave it a go and as you got involved in it, it became easier. You also took on feedback to improve your writing. Ka rawe!

Travis - I am seeing so much PRIDE from you at the moment. When you make a mistake, you are prepared to own up, take responsibility and do what you can to make it right. And what an incredible effort you made yesterday at the cross country! You are just awesome.

Lizzy M - I want to acknowledge your personal best, enthusiasm and amazing determination this week. You have demonstrated this in everything; from your incredible effort at the cross country to your maturity during dance. I am really proud of you!

Makenzie - you continue to impress me with your fantastic self-management skills. You are always well organised for learning, and get your work done to a really high standard within the given time frame. Well done!

Charlie Lowe - I am so impressed with the amount of focus and engagement you have shown at literacy time this week, Charlie. You have written a wonderful undersea adventure, you are able to ask and answer questions during your reading group and you get your spelling work done quickly and neatly. This shows excellent Integrity, ka mau te wehi!

Ash Orchard - I love the enthusiasm in your learning, Ash! You were so proud of your basic facts score, as you showed lots of improvement this week. You are a fountain of knowledge about the colossal squid and are asking interesting questions about this subject. It's great to see you wondering and thinking more about your reading subject - that shows depp thinking skills. Ka rawe!
