As part of our Friday programme, the children of Maungatere love using the sandpit and the water tray.  

Today we watched the children and their senior buddies use old plastic plumbing tubes as part of their building in the sandpit. In the water tray there were innovative ways of using old plant pots and margarine pottles. To help foster this creative thinking, we are asking for donations of old building materials and some household items, that would be suitable for use in the sandpit and/or water tray. Please bring any appropriate items to Maungatere Hub. Thanks.
