Fantastic recognition for our students at Friday night's Prizegiving 

As our North Canterbury Rugby season draws to an end we were able to celebrate our teams and players successes and progress through the 2017 season. We have close to 100 students from Amberley School playing Rugby for local teams - an enormous amount of children playing and families supporting every Saturday morning from March to August! Our 5 years olds up to Under 13 have been joining others kids from Waipara, Leithfield, Omihi and Broomfield Schools - making awesome teams across the age groups. 

I have been lucky enough to manage one of these teams and watch many other grades every weekend. I have been really impressed at the team spirit and PRIDE that is shown by all of the players every weekend. The support shown by parents has been positive and 

It was fantastic to see so many of our Amberley kids recognised for Best Team Spirit, Most Improved Player, Most Valuable Player and Player of the Year 2017. Well done boys and girls - I am already looking forward to Amberley Rugby 2018

It was also awesome to see one of Amberley's Old Head Boys Jack Carson receiving the Club cup for Player of the Year!
